PAUL RICHARD HINTON BOOKS

   I Was Born in the 'city' of Whitchurch, Shropshire in 1963. After a normal happy childhood I grew up into a strapping 18 year old whose only aims in life were to play football and enjoy the `occasional´ drink. At the time my main hobbies were golf and fishing but I also enjoyed reading and creative writing although, to be honest, the thought of writing a full length novel never entered my head.

   After a relatively successful school life I gained work experience doing a variety of jobs but none of the jobs involved appeared to have a real future. After a long discussion with my father, I decided to change my lifestyle and drinking habits. His suggestion and support took me down another road. I became a Professional Golfer.

   It was thanks to that career choice that I met my beautiful wife Jenny while working at my first golf club. After a year living together we were married and had our first daughter - Sarah - in 1989.

   Several months later we moved to Germany where I was to spend my time coaching Golf. Our initial idea was to stay only a couple of years and move back to England but we enjoyed the lifestyle so much, we ended up staying 23 years. During that time we had another two daughters - Samantha and Shannon. While living there, I utilised the long winters and started writing again.

   My family and I have since moved back to the UK where I still work within the golf industry whilst focusing my time on my writing.
