What If?

In a world ravaged by war and disastrous climatic problems, the survivors are forced to live in protected cities under extreme conditions. The cities are controlled by the rich, the poorer classes limited to conditions that at times are unbearable. Dominated by gangs, constantly under threat, the lower class citizens are treated with very little respect while the upper class live like Gods. As a result, tensions are mounting. An underground movement has been formed but are leaderless and hopelessly inadequate. In an attempt to better themselves two brothers make a decision that they will both later regret, setting a chain of events in motion that will eventually change the lives of everybody.

Fifteen Years Later.

According to numerous theories, the world, as we knew it, was supposed to suffer a cataclysmic episode in the year 2012. Various calendars, most notably the Mayans and even Nostradamus seemed to corroborate the possibility. The only part of the equation missing was the manner in which mankind would finally meet its Waterloo. The list of possible extinction causes ranged from catastrophic sun flares to meteor collisions.

In May of 2011, four weeks after his long awaited death, a video message from the late Osama Bin Laden was released by Al Quaida. At the time it was mostly ignored by the West, not really considered important enough for more than a fleeting mention by the major news channels. The authorities were confident his reign of terror was over, after all, they’d just finished celebrating his death  - what could he do?

Can You Clap?

`Can You Clap' is a classic tale of revenge that takes two young boys across half of America and most of Mexico, turning them into men in the process.
After their parents are brutally murdered and their two younger sisters are kidnapped, the boys set out to rescue the girls and kill the outlaws that have turned their worlds upside down. They come across a massacre, a Cavalry detachment that were guarding a shipment of gold has been ambushed and almost wiped out by the same gang of outlaws they are trailing. A Cavalry Captain, one of two survivors, helps them on their way, pointing them towards Tombstone, where they meet and befriend Wyatt Earp - unfortunately their actions in that town partly lead to the Gunfight at the OK Corral. On leaving Tombstone they head for Oklahoma City, on the way rescuing a family of settlers from renegade Comanche’s. Once in Oklahoma they save the local marshal’s life before heading for Abilene with a wagon train led by Creek Johnson. During the journey, the wagon train is ambushed by more Comanche’s only to be saved by Captain Jennings who has recovered from his injuries and is leading two troops out of Fort Latimer hunting the men that ambushed his detachment. They reach Abilene only to find the outlaws they are trailing aren’t there - the trail appears to lead to Mexico. They cross the border, the adventure continuing until the outlaws are  eventually tracked down and their sisters are rescued. It is a story of gigantic proportions and what the two young men achieve at their young ages is nothing less than a miracle but one dominated by the Colt 45 and a Winchester.

The Undiscovered - Part Two - Full Circle.

Three weeks had passed without incident. Life on the Isle of Wight had quickly settled into a routine of work, rest and play, similar to how life would have been before the Third World War and the ensuing conflict with the Zards.
Everybody seemed to be happy, their lives once again serving a purpose other than just staying alive. All problems had been met head on and dealt with in an efficient and professional way. The first crops were due to be planted in a week’s time, just in time for spring. The winter had been amazingly mild again but that seemed to have been the case every year, at least since global warming had taken a firm hold of the planet’s climate. If everything went well, in four months their food supplies would be swelled beyond their needs. If everything that could go wrong, did go wrong, they’d learn from it and try again. The mood was very optimistic.
John was confident they would succeed, after all, what could happen?
